Insects within the order ‘Coleoptera’ are generally known as ‘beetles’. The frequent name ‘beetle’ comes from older English words for a ‘little biter’. The elytra are not used for flight, however tend to cover the hind part of the physique and protect the second pair of wings. The elytra should be raised to be able to transfer the hind flight wings. Legs

As their frequent name suggests, the host plant of purple milkweed beetles are crops within the milkweed genus Asclepias. The sap and plant tissue construct up toxins in the insect, making the red beetle poisonous to some birds and predators. Another identifying characteristic of the bright purple beetle is the shrill noise it makes when startled. Clay-colored weevils can do lots of damage to corn crops when they emerge from the soil in May. The small beetles chew three or 4 holes in leaves with their beaks, and so they can kill small crops.

Rare Diesel: 1982 Chevrolet Chevette
